On coincidence of feedback and global Stackelberg equilibria in a class of differential games

This paper shows for a class of differential games that the global Stackelberg equilibrium (GSE) coincides with feedback (FSE), although GSE assumes leader/regulator announces at initial time regulatory instrument rule she will follow rest game, while in FSE, regulator any chooses optimal level rate. coincidence is based on fact FSE calculated using dynamic programming what implies rate maximizes social welfare, first-order condition maximization right-hand side Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation implicitly defines instrument. Then, as defined by implements efficient outcome does, rules both equilibria must be same. In second part paper, we check this case two examples. The first an operations research model, economic model. example fits linear-state game structure, presents linear-quadratic specification. cases (GSE and FSE) are identical expressions obtained.
